Hampden Mild Ale.
For over forty years, a man threw his empty beer cans
up into a crawl space above the kitchen to keep
his wife from knowing that he was drinking.
In 1980, over 300 cans were found there by his nephew.
I purchased this can and several others from the nephew 23 years later. Of the 300 plus cans, only three contained ale. All the rest were beer.
